Experimental, non-traditional, First grow.

dsn. No my method will change slightly. in fact there will be a whole other grow room. I also plan to incorporate HPS for flowering. I have the new plants Vegging in a micro grow now and have been for 3 weeks now on 24/0. Planning on moving them into the Flowering room as soon as the seeds i germinated poke through. I still want to expiriment with 12/12 light cycle from seed, but that is only going to be monitored on one plant at a time. It's all up in the air right now, my harvest and yeild might dictate further what I do next. I'm thinking CFL Scrog though. I'm currently pillaging local thrift stores for the perfect cabnit to convert.

Here you can see the arrangement of all 4 LST'd plants, they have been arranged to let most of the bud nodes get direct light. i have tried to tuck most of the big leaves underneith the cannopy. They plants will likely stay in this position till harvest as i have not found any more optimal positions.

Man, you`r plants look great! And You still have to grow them, so theyr gonna get bigger. Taht`s great!
I was looking at You`r plants and thinking - they ar smaller, but they have very dense buds with only few leafes. If I put plant for 2 weeks in veg and than put it in flowering, so its gonna be bigger, but buds will still be dense with many flowers. so I have more dense buds.
I have one young plant. Hope t`s a girl, so i can find out - is it like I said.
Ok, I`m stoned, did I wrote too many? :D

The whole point of veging is to get the plants big enough so when you flower them they produce good sized buds. Plant size and bud size are directly related, so small plants small buds. You need to allow your plant to grow and create a large root structure so it can feed the plant when it does start to flower. You cant mess with nature bro I dont know why anyone would go straight into 12/12 it wont be a great turnout. Rember its not legal to grow bud so if you do make sure you do your research so you dont wast your time. Im not trying to be a ass but this isnt a good idea and its just a fack. In nature plants veg for months and then flower thats how the plant works.

Hey man he's just experimenting and/or basing this grow on what he has seen work in another thread... and so far it has turned out great!

ya know this is pretty cool.. I just (this morning) stumbled upon your thread and i'm subscribing... I've always wanted to try flowering from day one (seedling) to see what would happen... but then thought what would be the difference between flowering a seedling and growing an autoflowering strain so I never actually did it... so what your saying is you flowered from the moment they popped through soil eh ? looks real good bud... real good :) ... about how many days did it take you to see sex ? i'm guessing 2-3 weeks ? I want to see yield and get a smoke report ;) they look gorgous :) hehe thanks for the good post bud...
 
Sgt just a heads up, from what I've read if you harvest your plant too late then the potency will be dramatically lower. Just sayin that cuz your plants might look small when you harvest and you might want to let them get bigger but just make sure you harvest when the buds look ready.

My plants are sick right now =[ cuz of Miracle Grow. Battling mildew cuz of the watering agents in it.

You are exactly right. I saw sex at 21 days. And I'll be able to report soon because harvest is near. I cut of the top cola of one plant to cure. Here's a pic.

Yea I've been concerned about when to harvest....I'm payin close attention. Wish i had a magnifier. cut off the cola on Girl1 because it seemed as if the cola matured and the rest of the plant had a ways to go. We'll see how that pans out.

Yes it's true, I'm samping the rewards of my patience, because patience ran thin.....LOL The very tippy top of my Cola was dry enough, so i clipped her off and am about to light it up. For interest's sake i'm going to weigh my dose out. 0.15g Dry. OR $1.50's worth, based on a $10 gram.

On a scale of 1-10

1=Worst i ever had 10=Best i ever had.

Smell = 5 : Smells fresh kinda, not skunky

Taste = 2 : Can't lie here it's kinda gross, curing would have helped this.

High = 7 : Well concidering my lack of patience, I'm quite baked.

I am obviously going to have to hold out just a little longer to see these numbers improve, but over all I'm impressed. I am expecting wonderful quality from the rest of the crop.

Right on Sgt! That bud at least LOOKED like it'd be bomb! The smell usually gets better (along with the taste), after curing. Patience sucks, but really pays off here! Keep up the good work, bro!
