After you hang-dry your colas and small branches, cut the buds off of the branches and colas and put them (the buds) into brown paper sacks ... I use lunch bags. You can write the strain on each bag if you have multiple strains. Pack them in the bags loosely. The bags will draw out more moisture. Continue to fluff the buds for a few days and continue to keep them in the bags. After a few days, you can transfer them to Mason Jars for safe keeping. You want to "burp" the Mason Jars a couple of times a day for a few days. If in doubt, empty the Mason Jars and let the buds air out for a few hours, then put them back into the jars. The idea is to end up with buds that are NOT crispy dry, but nicely cured. They will still be springy-like, smell great, smoke smoothly and won't turn to powder when you handle them.
The idea in all of this is to end up with world quality, pot snob marijuana, that you grow in a cabinet at home. What could be better than this?
