Extracting THC

Is it possible to extract THC from bud into alkahol (eg vodka) for cooking or drinking purposes?

If not does anybody have a recipe for a cannabis "cocktail" for parties?

The higher % of alcohol, the more efficient extraction you will get. I use 95% everclear.
