What did that leaf do to you? When I see a leaf
This southern Charmer leaf is on its last legs
It's old and useless...like most things old about 5 weeks before it dies..What did that leaf do to you?
Photosynthesis is done primarily from the leaves correct? Why would you want to remove the plants ability to do so for no reason? It's old and useless...like most things old about 5 weeks before it dies..
Truth be told I might leave all these plants alone entirely unless insee something that looks like dmg... tester genetics and all
For the new people I've answered this exact question at least 2 times this week for him.Photosynthesis is done primarily from the leaves correct? Why would you want to remove the plants ability to do so for no reason?
It seems like experienced hydro growers leaf strip in larger numbers than experienced soil growers. Maybe the stunting is more easily overcome with hydro's growth rateI'm in dtw hydro, so they're watered daily. I'll feed 25% weaker base nutrients but keep the CalMagic at regular level.
The biggest change needed is with maintaining proper vpd. The room went from a sitting 70% rh to 39%, so adjustments to environmental controls is key to keeping me @ my optimal 1.2 pressure deficit.
It's nothing big, but if I didn't make the adjustments I'd run into the issues you see others have when trying it their first few times.
You're rapidly and repeatedly feeding the plants nutrients it doesn't need the nutrients from the old leaves when you're providing everything it needs on a daily basis to the rootzone. Do you want big leaves in flower or big buds is what it boils down to. Yeah some genetics will herm but those are weak genetics in my opinion and get thrown out.It seems likeexperienced hydro growers leaf strip in larger numbers than experienced soil growers. Nutrients are stored in old leaves?ee

It was a question if you never seen the question mark at the end.You think you're funny now.
I'm just reporting your posts from now on.It was a question if you never seen the question mark at the end.
Don't be mean to the modsI'm just reporting your posts from now on.
So a huge leaf with lots of chlorophyll that can photosynthesize you would consider useless? For the new people I've answered this exact question at least 2 times this week for him.
They don't need every leaf. And you don't remove them all... funny stuff
Hormone manipulation... complicated stuff I know
Lots of leaves to take its place... that photosythesize at a better rate..younger leavesSo a huge leaf with lots of chlorophyll that can photosynthesize you would consider useless?
What hormones would be produced from removing the leaf?
Microbes, healthy older leaves and soil growers all be like:You're rapidly and repeatedly feeding the plants nutrients it doesn't need the nutrients from the old leaves when you're providing everything it needs on a daily basis to the rootzone. Yeah if the mods look at your posts you're just a bully you go around the forum harassing and irritating people on purpose you don't grow you have no purpose here other than being a troll just like a lot of other members that I'm keeping track of. It'll be funny when you guys go to login and your accounts are banned for harassment.
Cooling it down may have an effect on slowing them down. It seems like adjusting light intensity is hit or miss on slowing them down, cool to see you experimenting with defoliation to slow them!I'm trying my best to slow down the growth.

It barely missed a beat after defoliatin, I'm about to take clones or I absolutely would defoliate it again..
Fk me I can't believe I said that... Please note!
I'm aiming to slow growth by defoliating.
This was it on the 9th after being cut back and re vegging.

It would be through the roof by now without some intervention so yes defoliating has a place in my book.
You have a negative post/positive reaction score. You're the one contributing nothing and causing issues. If you weren't the first statement wouldn't hold true.bk78 is only here to annoy people. How he hasn't been perma banned yet is shocking.
