if you harden up the plant . . . theoretically couldn't any strain be tolerant of high heats?
I believe this to be the case.
I have a friend that grows outdoors where I live, and the last week has been 5+ days of 100+ weather. One day was 112.
He grows multiple strains. The only plant that had a problem was a sativa, but it was YOUNG, maybe 4-5" with 3 nodes. The other plants with healthy root systems were fine. Their leaves curled up and pointed up slightly, but I am told this is normal in extreme heat.
As long as the plants are established, healthy and have water, they should be fine. Heck if anything they seem to grow like crazy in the heat.
Start early before its really hot, and veg under CFL's until the plants are well rooted.
