how far would you recommend digging to covertly hide the grow? a few feet a dozen feet? would make it hard for FLIR to catch you because insulated by mother earth
Actually that's a really good question. About a year or so ago no sure if it was American or Canadians who thought of the idea. But they basically made a tunnel a few miles long to attempt to use to traffice marijuana and extacy across the border without any problems.
Problem was while they were digging it one of the Government agencies noticed that the landscape was actually changing from them digging this tunnel.
They waited for them to completely finish then when they enterted the US border and walked upstairs with the goods they were met by DEA and several other agencies.
I imagine digging can be productive depending how you do it. But I'd say don't over do it and make sure your deep enough. It almost makes more since to invest in some sort of heat blanket for celings and grow in a basement.
Where I live is near an airforce base. They have the technology now to fly around and see your individual plants growing. Regardless if they are indoor or outdoor. I guess it's because the Marijuana plant holds heat differently then other plants. They were doing a test run and actually found two small plants outside near a house with no neighbors. And yet this machine noticed them. I believe they were under a foot even.
So that's a scary thought to think about with the government having that kind of technology.
