Extremely thin stem

600w hps is too much for them at that stage and having it so far away looks like its causing some stretch.
a few CFL bulbs is all you need until they get a few sets of true leafs then you can introduce them slowly to the hps.

you can replant them and bury the stretched stem deep, i do it all the time and fixes it right up into a short stout plant.

the picture of the single seedling (the one with the thin stem) looks like its starting to get damping off(plant disease, google it) but i might be wrong.

you can put a light breeze on the seedlings and it will strengthen and thicken the stems up nicely. dont blast them with wind though.

Wow, thanks for all the replies.

I replanted and its looking alright so far.

It actually happened again to another seedling however this time it was with the aid of a thermometer dropping from the tent ceiling *facepalm*.

Ive looked into damping off and i think you might be onto something, I'll keep an extra close eye on that one.

Thanks again everyone.

Your WASTING a lot of power with the 600. Use CFL or T-5 for the first couple 3 weeks. At least until you have a few true sets of leaves,

Thanks for the concern, they were sat in my veg tent with 8 other much bigger plants. I'll look into setting up a cfl set up for my next lot of seedlings.

Cheers again.
