clean ,clean clean. i made my own ez cloner and have a 100% success rate,i use just straight tap water with a lil hydrogen peroxide and keep the water temps down and you should be golden.. no need to use chemicals or anything just tap water and cool temps.. no dome or anything just a spray ever now n then...

I mist the clones in my EZ at least twice daily with a spray bottle, generally with plain water and find it helpful. Also typically use just water, a little hydrogen peroxide and if I'm feeling like it a few teaspoons of AZOS in the reservoir.

Most cloning machines will fail during the summer months and in high temp environments . The pumps are to blame as they further warm the water or cloning solution . Most people tend to use timers to relieve this issue along with a air stone . The best timer to use if a NFT timer , I use a 1 on and 4 minute off model and it never fails . I also am fond of cement floors and air conditioning to relieve this issue . In the end it is easier for me to just maintain a room temp of 72 F as most cloners are made to run at this temp .

Bravo!

I once measured ambient water temp vs 24/7 pump running in a power cloner------10 f delta.

I drop 5 drops of bleach in my cloner every 4days. In two weeks my roots are bright white and about 3-6 inches long with my reservoir temps being 80 degrees. I've never had slime issues since I started adding bleach clones look nice and healthy btw.
