Ez Cloner problems, middle of leaf browning and crisping up on clones (indoor)

Hey everyone,

I could use some tips on cloning with an aeroponic cloner (ez clone). I was using cubes before but recently switched and am having some issues ironing out some problems.

My method:
Our water here is 7.0 ph @ 130 ppm
I pH it down to 6.0 and add 1 drop of super thrive per gallon (10 drops for the 32 slot ez cloner)
I put the clones in and let them go.

After a week the ppm has gone up to about 190-195 ppm. I'm not sure if that's indicative of anything. Also the Ph steadily goes up so after a week it's back to 7.0...

After about a week this is the problem I'm encountering displayed on the plant:

The clones all DO eventually (14-16 days) come in. Most have healthy and clean root balls; however, by the time they do the leaves and stems are looking even worse than the photos. After transplanting into a cup or 1 gallon pot it takes the plant up to two weeks for them to snap out of it and continue beautiful growth. This is stunting my babies hard in the beginning, what am I screwing up?

Having similar problems with a DIY aerocloner. have tried my 7.0 ph water at 70ppm after the chlorine escapes, tried Ph ing it down to 6.0, adding light nutes. WTF some of the clones develop roots after 3 or more weeks...Finally
tried clonex, powder root tone.....
rumor would have it that it should take 10 to 12 days....

and the plants look like shit when they get roots.

I'm with you on the problems, might have to go back to rockwool....
