F#cken BS...nirvana seeds cracked but not sprouting...BS

Yea dude I know Im doing the same thing you are..new grower as well.....did ur seeds ever crack? I put mine in between two layers on wet papaertowels then put it on a plate and then a another plate on top of that to seal it shut. Then put that in a paper bag in a dark place and check on it in 2 days.

I don't know what all this about being in the dark is, I put my seedlings under my lights along with my plants and 23:27 popped and grew. I think that "keep them in the dark" is BS.

thats called a jiffy cube.

U soak em in water till they expand.

those jiffy cubes work great. that box is nice its got the plastic top for it it makes it like a little greenhouse. i used them for poppies

i soak my papertowel with drinking water and then wring in out completely put the seed in with only one layer on top more on bottom and put it in a ziploc bag and seal it up with straw in the zipper part for air, and put it in the window sill or in the veg chamber. i dont belive in the darkness theory, many seeds need light to break dormancy, but i am not totally sure about mj seeds. i have always had 100% success. never ordered from nirvanna, i am thinking about it, after reading this thread i am thinking twice about it.

yeah i thought about ordering from nirvana for my first time, but now im considering GHS... i like the videos they have on their site, explaining the different strains. very cool. seems pricey, but the seeds more than pay for themselves if they work.

so the general consensus on germ is soak in water for 10 hrs, then wet paper towell till you see the root? after that, plant in jiffy cubes/rock wool and put into aero/hydro system?

ya, but if ur using rockwool make sure u soak the rockwool cubes first. the rockwools got a lot of shit in it that could fuck up ur ph and cause ur babies to start yellowing a few weeks after germination.

I read that 5.5-5.8 ph'd water with a cpl drops of superthrive will work good for the soaking.

I like to germ mine in a shop cloth, since it contains no bleach, dye, lye or other harmful chemicals like some paper towel brands do. These Nirvana Bubblicious are the only ones that Ive had trouble with.
