Fair and Balanced

Feel free to summarize her saintly deeds then. I will read it.

even before you know anything about her (besides whatever racist misconceptions you have of her), you are already displaying sarcasm towards the notion that she could do anything nice.

and you wonder why people know you are racist.

Actually, I am only vaguely familiar with the Sherrod thing. Did FOX edit the video? The whole story was (as I understand it) that she racially discriminated against white farmers, using her power as a federal employee to deny them loans, and then did some soul searching and decided that she did wrong and set about to make amends. Is that about right?

"... more racist than he is..." You're a hoot, Buck. Every credible source of information paints Zimmerman as more of a multicultural, Obama nut-hugger than you, but the progs have decided to throw Z under the bus because it rustles the sleepy chickens off their roosts. There is a morality lesson in that: if you are a prog, you are only as useful as the hive allows. If your humiliation and destruction furthers the cause, then you are gone.

heres the video.

as you can clearly see her racist rant was NOT edited, and her own words demonstrate that she is a racist bitch.

it's one long shot, no edits.

pitiful ass.

how the hell do you get racism out of that video?

you really should just go back to stormfront where you belong, kkkynes.

Roger Spooner, the farmer, said on CNN that Sherrod is not a racist, that she did everything she could for his family; more than 20 years later, he and Sherrod remain friends.[SUP][31][/SUP] The Spooners credit Sherrod with helping them save their farm: "If it hadn't been for her, we would've never known who to see or what to do", Roger Spooner said. "She led us right to our success." His wife, Eloise Spooner, said that "after things kind of settled down, she brought Sherrod some tomatoes out of her garden, and they had a good visit."[SUP][30][/SUP] Eloise Spooner recalled Sherrod as "nice-mannered, thoughtful, friendly; a good person."[SUP][30][/SUP] The couple were surprised by the controversy. "I don't know what brought up the racist mess", Roger Spooner said. "They just want to stir up some trouble, it sounds to me in my opinion." Eloise Spooner said that on seeing the story of Sherrod's resignation, "I said, 'That ain't right. They have not treated her right.'"[SUP][30]

you are dumb.

In the full video, Sherrod related her experience in 1986 with the first white farmer to come to her for help. (On July 20 CNN received a telephone call from the farmer's wife and learned his name was Roger Spooner.[SUP][28][/SUP]) Sherrod said that his land was being sold, and "had in fact already been rented out from under him."[SUP][29][/SUP] At first, she felt that he had a superior attitude toward her, causing her to recall harsh aspects of her life in the South, including the murder of her father,[SUP][29][/SUP] but she went on to say that she had not let that get in the way and did not discriminate against him. They became very good friends as a result of her help. She admitted thinking at the time that white people had "all the advantages" but learned that poverty affected both races.[SUP][29][/SUP]

funny thats not what she was saying in this video.

so was she a racist bitch then, or are you lying now?

fuckit,

Por Que La Dos?

I know it is the progressive's playbook, page 1 to scream "Racist", so now that you have that out of your system, please tell me how I mis-characterized the Sherrod incident? I acknowledged in my post that "she did something nice", e.g. she set about to make amends. You claimed, and still claim that I completely distorted the whole thing and I am a racist, yada, yada, yada.

I simply asked for you to educate me on Sherrod's true story. Can you please do that?

"I was struggling with the fact that so many black farmers had lost their land... And here I was being asked to help a white man... So... I didn't give him the full force of what I could do..."

Using the power of her public position and the taxpayer's money to do it to intentionally discriminate against a farmer BECAUSE HE WAS WHITE... Isn't that the very definition of racism, Buck? Granted, Ms Sherrod made things right later but so did George Wallace and I don't see you cutting George any slack.

The video definitely shows her treating white farmers as less deserving of her help than black farmers. Back when it had happened at least. Maybe the rest of the video shows her saying that she then went on to help people equally regardless of the color of their skin.

What an absurd example of denial. The good news is Bucky, you won't be loosing any credibility, that's already dried up long ago!

in Bucky's defense he does have credibility with regards to gardening, but sadly in matters of law politics, ethics, morality, race relations, and logic he is quite mad.

i suppose he will turn into one of those weird-beard mountain folk who hide in their cabins crafting insane manifestos, and only coming out into the light when Democrats are in power or to mail letterbombs to those "On Their List".

you can look up her story yourself.

your sarcastic and snide dismissal about "her saintly deeds" betrays your prejudice.

[video=youtube;V-bHEF6goF4]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V-bHEF6goF4[/video] Fox News learned that it’s important to check the facts before reporting the news. On Saturday, Oct. 5, Fox & Friends broadcast a segment about how the government shutdown had closed the World War II Memorial. Weekend co-host Anna Kooiman added that President Obama had offered “to pay out of his own pocket for the Muslim Museum of Culture.” The source turned out to be the National Report website which is known for its satire. The story was not true either in that the president was personally financing a museum or the claim that the Muslim Museum was federally funded. Kooiman has apologized via Twitter saying that she had “received flawed research” and that it “won’t happen again.” What is true is that there really is an International Museum of Muslim Cultures, housed in the Mississippi Arts Center in Jackson. It was founded in 2000, almost a year before Sept. 11, and opened to the public six months before that tragic date. It receives funding from a variety of private sources and foundations including individuals, as well as the City of Jackson and the Mississippi Division of Tourism. http://guardianlv.com/2013/10/fox-n...ng-false-story-about-obama-and-muslim-museum/
Wouldn't that be government establishment of religion?

You still have a dial TV.....6 channels or 7? :) So, of course had the OP tried to say that any other was better that Fox, that is not true. Fox competes with CNN practically head to head. They just moved Megan Kelly to Prime time and push Hannity down. He could not compete with Piers.....too funny. I have a modern TV system and satellite provider, and my news block list has them all. I flip around. All are phony. All are shrill. All are simply jacking emotion and selling ads. Newz-joke
Never liked Hannity. Too confrontational. Rude.
