I’ve scrogged twice, I know how to top and fim, what I’m not so good at is trimming my plant. I’m talking moreso loli-popping and light defoliation to increase light to bud sights. I’ve mainly just let them grow all natural and end up with some larf, but I don’t mind because it’s just more bud.

So I have a few questions, by removing larf sites do the other higher up buds grow bigger? Is that how lolipopping works?
My other question is if I remove the larf areas will I have a smaller final weigh in overall?

Thanks. Much love.

Lollipop is good practice generally.
watch some Arjan and Franco greenhouse vids and they do it on most all their grow.
Good for airflow under plant and getting rid of larf. Also a good time to check for herm down mid-low.
I don’t think you lose too much weight. Plants generally feed the best bud sites so anything larf isn’t getting fed and should be removed.

If your growing the plant in a big empty reflective tent then keep 'em, the light bounces around and will get some dankness. If you've got a solid canopy up top, cut anything in the shade. Always chop what's in the dark.
