Fake paperwork

Not looking for the legalaise on this, more so just the practical. For several reasons, I have chosen not to obtain a medical marijuana card in MI. However, I realize that application papers, once submitted become valid until card is issued.

My question is...suppose I were to fake the application papers...I know I would need more to make the paperwork valid like certified mail receipt or canceled check....But can't I just fake those too? Or actually send certified mail w/a check and intentionally incomplete application?

Easy? No
Impossible? No

Stupid and pointless? Absolutely.

If you get checked by LEO you will go to jail and when you go to court they will see it is not legitimate...If you send it to them incomplete or invalid you will make it even worse because you will get a denial letter and be officially denied. Using illegitamte paperwork will only make the situation worse and gurantee you jail time/probation/felony/misdemeanor charges. I don't know if your aware but there is medical marijuana laws in our state that protect UNREGISTERED PATIENTS. Those laws will not be on your side should you get caught faking paperwork its straight to the bighouse.


Please explain why your thinking about doing this so we can give you a better option, there is no reason for you to do this, anyone can get a card who really wants one.

My objective isn't to deter law enforcement. Like I said, leave out the legalaise. I realize they would see right through it.

It is more for the dispensaries that are cropping and/or for various caregivers/patients to "get me by" until "my own stash starts growing". Patient to patient transfers are acceptable, so if a CG/Patient thought I was also a patient they would hence then be able to transfer to me. See what I am getting at here? Just using it to get my own personal supply without all the bullshit pretense of medicine (which I agree it can be, but I have no qualifying condition and would rather keep marijuana off my medical record if at all possible).

well your a bit neive on the situation here, no offense intended because indeed it is complicated and overwhelming...

first off, you do have a qualifying condition, you just need to find the right doctor.

second, it doesnt go on your medical record

third, it will not deter law enforcement, law enforcement does not accept paperwork - you would go to jail and then show up in court and the cop will say you tried to use fake paperwork and than your in deep shit, If you get arrested for marijuana you can get your card after the fact and/or claim it was for medical reason without getting a card and you are protected so that is why I say really shouldnt do this because you will lose your protections, in addition to this there is also protections that protect unregistered patients in the medical marijuana act of 2008 it is not unlawfull for you to use marijuana for medical purposes even as an unregistered patient.

For one there is no such thing as non-medicinal use of marijuana.

Second, " bullshit pretense of medicine " - You do qualify - I am sure you dont use marijuana JUST to get high and for fun? No you use it for one of the thousands of reasons it can be used for including theraputic value, sleep aid, anxiety/stress relief, etc...
