You're doing a killer job on these girls, Falcon. They're the picture of health!Day 62
D12 12/12
Yesterday I gave the soil a drink with 5ltrs of just water with appox 300ml of run off.
Tonight I gave the dwc a fresh soup mix as I had topped her off with fresh water to that same amount of the original mix. I upped the ppm a touch from last change as she seems to like it. The stretch is definitely starting to show. Soil plant has little flowers popping up everywhere, and the bud sites look great
Dwc looks like she is only just starting to show some pistils. I should have definitely thinned out more branches on the quadline's before flipping I think. It going to be a pretty big defoliate and branch thinning when the stretch finishes.

Beautiful Falcon! Thick and full. The defol will do them good.Day 70 (yesterday)

Everything is just cruising along sweetly and the stretch is still happening. Soil has bud sites everywhere. I have made a compost tea for the soil tonight when lights come on. I raised the soil plant a few inches so it is the same canopy height as the dwc plant. Will probably do a defoliate, branch thinning and lollipoping this weekend.

Oh lordy look at em go!
I'm guessing here and you should probably check with @Randomblame but probably 2 x 2ft T5s just for good coverage. I went with 6% so I can run full 12 hours on and run close to the canopy with Prawns new boards.
Cheers Randomblame for your input. I will check out my local pet stores and see what they have.Who the fuck mentioned me again, lol!
I recommed f61 to use either a 39w 3ft bulb or two 24w 2 footers. 14% bulbs 2-4h, 10-12% bulbs 3-6h and the 6% bulbs can run all day long.(same heights with the LED's)
The length of the UVB treatments also depend on the strains used. Its different from strain to strain. First signs of UVB stress look similar to heat stress so keep an eye on the upper fan leaves and when you see curled up leaf margins or twisted leaves reduce the amount of time a little until the issues dissapear.
Reptile bulbs are pretty easy to use cuz they don't stress the plants like other UVB bulbs.(Agromax pure UV's for instance) For UVB beginners they are perfect cuz they can not damage adult plants. Lower % bulbs need only more time but the quality improving effect is almost the same.
