Any updates? I'm on my 7th week in flower for my gorilla cookies in DWC. Going good so far, my buds have yet to even get a single orange hair. feeling like this will be a 10 week strain
Day 90
day 40 since flip.
So today I got the grinder out and cut my frame to fit my new light addition a Arcadia ProT5 Kit -39watt 6% UVB 34" Light. Cheers @Randomblame for the guidance. I was thinking of starting off with 2hrs on in the middle of the 12hrs of lights on and increasing the time at 1/2 increments every few days. Any sudgestions?
Other than the new addition everything is just cruising along. It still looks like the organic plant is going to beat the dwc to the harvesting scissors.
61F you should be good at 2hrs lights and 2hrs just before lights off. Run for 4-5 days then ramp and 1-2hours a day.
Pretty hard to get into trouble with 6% was what the Gman told me.

Exactly! The 6% bulbs can literally run all day long. They cause a relatively low but constant stress without harming the plants seriously. Pretty close to mother nature...
Okay, you could save some energy using more powerful bulbs for a lower amount of time but for UVB beginners they are perfect cause its almost impossible to get in trouble.
Good thing is Arcadia has 12 and 14% bulbs as well and later you can still test them. Such a bulb lasts 1500h so ~18 weeks á 12h per day. That's only 2 or 3 runs before you need new bulbs.
Pretty sure you test the higher output bulbs next year anyway!
