Which have you run ? What did you think?
.
Green Poison - Samsara - 1 'tude freebie that came qith 2 others from Samsara; one an auto. Didn't like anything about either [Crazy Miss Hyde]
Jackberry x Mad Scientist - ran 2 freebies. Didn't care for either.
Blue Power - I hear it's slow in veg, and low in yield. I ran 2 Tangerine Power [Blue Power x Agent Orange] - one was pretty good.
C99 - only from Female Seeds. A dependable, nice daytime smoke that reeks pineapple. I have another one coming down in a few days, and run at least one once a year.
Lemon Skunk - Mine was from DNA, and it was real good.
Jabba's Stash - Bodhi - I ran 2 Solos Stash - same HPK, but with Snow Lotus dad instead of appy. Good potency, but meh flavor and smell. Was bored with it before the jars were empty.
Chernobyl - TGA - I've ran this 5 different times, the worst of which was a B+ [ mild potency and flavor ]. 3 were A - vg potency, good yields of dusted sparkles and lime sherbet buds. One was the most mind blowing plant I've ever run. Huge, dense, sticky , trich covered spears of lime slurpee buds. Reeked....I had to take breaks during trim. The smoke was potent, yield huge, and a lime taste that grabs the taste buds before even lighting the joint.

chernobyl... meh.
not tga's best imo.
ran it last year.

ive run jtr, spacedawg, plush, vortex, yada, yada. still like to run some more jtr & mickey kush.
you cant compare tga , peak, sannie.
I've ran chernobyl, ripped bubba, Ace, Agent Orange, Dairy Queen, Timewreck, space bomb.....never the yada yada. Most all vg - chernobyl the best of the bunch, ime.

Went with:

20x Sugar Punch
9x GSC
3x ECSD x Island Sweet Skunk
10x Shackzilla
2x Mad Scientist x Jackberry (apparently this is a new strain from Sannies so I guess all the positive feedback went well)

20x Black Widow
10x Chernobyl
10x Novocaine (Sensi Star x Jacks Cleaner/OG)
7x Blueberry x Purple Kush
7x Killingfields F3
15x C99 (Peakseeds)
10x Pure Afghani from my buddy - the line they bred House of the Great Gardeners IBL. It's a nice line. Looking forward to actually finishing some of these inside to see what I'm working with - the one I did outside last year turned out well considering it was like 3 or 4 weeks premature and too slow to do outside here. Which is nice because it means it's a more equitorial line from Afghanistan (there are some real heady plants out of the region def not classic indicas). Anyway looking forward to how they turn out.
3x Amnesia Haze x Blueberry (freebies from E$ko).

Oh, almost forgot also running a few JOTI Gods Blue Cheese seeds as well. Haven't run anything from TGA, Chimera, Motarebel or JOTI (well, I've run an elite cut of God but that's another story and who knows where it came from). Looking forward to seeing how the new guys turn out.

Have a pretty good idea of what to expect from the KF, C99, Sugar Punch and Black Widow. Just gotta find the winners.

killer lineup! lots of variety you've got in there, lots of stuff I'l like to run. Wish I was your homie so I could help test all that. :bigjoint:

the afghani sounds awesome.

you pop into the peakseeds thread? He's got a new cross King x BB. I'm going to wet them pretty soon.

Your lineup has me droolin, I have always wanted to try sannies sugar punch.

No polls, just thoughts..

So I took drastic measures and killed all my moms last night.

1) I have plenty of seeds of all of them except the SLH which I'm not stressing over.

2) It's been hot as hell and I've just been giving them a bit of water and letting them get root bound. They need help and I was too lazy to give it.

3) I've been fantasizing about the seeds in my tins because who that posts here regularly doesn't?

4) It was a great chance to do a real thorough cleaning. Also got a new bigger veg tent. Love Gorilla, they make quality products. Also have some nice new COB LED lights to hang inside. 1100w total but the veg tent is going to only see 400-600 depending on how full it is.

5) I need to get used to working with and saving large populations as the breeding projects I have are somewhat ambitious. This is an opportunity to find interesting breeding parents.

6) A few of the cuts I let go are going to be coming back anyway through a buddy. My Black Widow in particular as it yields and is great.

7) Would have kept the Sweet Skunk around but I couldn't get them to reveg at all after a month and frankly they looked dead. So it is what it is there. I do have one still alive and flowering actually, going to try to reveg that one - it's gone like 2 weeks longer than the rest and it looks interesting. Regardless, going to pick up more Sweet Skunk seeds anyway. All plants in that line are great. Some are incredible. Definite pine thing going on in the background of most of them - if you're looking for a more pure piney smelling strain I think there are phenotypes that fit the bill. Not pure pinetree though @rory420420. A little sweetness to go with.

I'm also running these in one gallon fabric pots. I want a large #. I figure I can fit around 120-150 flowering plants in my room. I also now have space to take at least that many clones as well.

So far, I have more than a few that are definitively getting run and they are:

20x Sugar Punch from Sannie - fem
10x Shackzilla from Sannie - fem
12x GSC S1 from Chimera - fem
4x ECSD x Jack from Chimera - fem
20+x Black Widow - reg
10x Novocaine - Motarebel
4x Amnesia Haze x Blueberry - Freebies from E$kobar - reg
Green Poison - Samsara - Wanna try this line out.. heard good things, need a KO for myself. Will see what 1 seed brings.
Gods Blue Cheese - JOTI - 2x Fem
Jackberry x Mad Scientist - 6x Fem

^^ The above are more for my own short term purposes and head stash/production plants with a few being interesting for breeding from my perspective - Black Widow in particular and maybe (not likely) GSC we'll see how they turn out.

Now I have a lot of options to choose from. Some on the list include:

La Nina - 20+ Seeds - reg Breeding?
Killing Fields F3 - 15+ Seeds - really actually kind of itching to put these in the dirt. - reg
Caramel Cough - 20 seeds - Dynasty - reg
Blue Power - 15 seeds - Sin City - reg Breeding?
Purple Kush x Blueberry - Peakseeds - reg 5 or so
C99 - PeakseedsBC - old generation - Reg A lot. Breeding?
Lemon Skunk - JOTI -20 seeds - Breeding Stock?
Jabba's Stash - Bodhi - KO smoke?
Chernobyl - TGA
Vortex - TGA

Should I even waste my time with TGA? They would be more for my own purposes but fuck I see so many mixed reviews.. I also see a lot of samples testing in the 10% range but then some pop up and are in the mid-high 20's.. and I imagine those cuts are quite good. But maybe rare. Anyway... flavor country regardless right? Probably Chernobyl will go down...
IMO I wouldn't even play with the TGA, but that is just from my own experiences. I have popped agent orange, jillybean, 9lb baller, chernobyl, jack skellington, jack the ripper, apollo 13bx.

I am by far let down by tga seeds 9 times out of 10. Others have had opposite experience though.

lol 9lb baller...

I guess we'll see what's up? It's only a few plants, if they suck no big deal. If they're fantastic that's great too. I'm hoping to get something real tasty with some potency. Yield isn't so much an issue for this plant for me.

Yield wasn't my top concern either, but when you don't get the potency ... you expect something lol.

I hear that. I think the fruity terpenes that dominate his crosses effect some people more so than others. Also think there's a lot of instability (ie: JTR has tested below 10% and as high as 30%), but suspect the terpenes might be the more likely answer for some folks. Cause I've heard of people smoking TGA gear that does test pretty high but not getting the effects they were looking for.

Different wiring, I guess we'll see. I do like fruity smelling stuff a lot of the time. You should just run Sugar Punch btw. Put down two or three packs worth and you'll find a great plant that should check every box as well as some others that check a lot of boxes.

Im not much of a grower yet, but Im finally getting things in line.
Of the strains done so far, the best has been Green Poison. I ran five, and they all turned out pretty much identical, structure and highwise, with only a few days of difference as when to harvest. I have done other strains, such as white widow from seedsman, which due to not having a vent system back then, had to be chopped too early, and also c99 from Female Seeds, which Im sorry to say Im a bit disappointed with. Perhaps my expectations were too high, pun intended. Im tempted to try Sannies seeds, both the Jack and the SP. I know you have tried the Jack recently, dont you have some pictures of her? I hope you end up getting some nice stuff, you are always nice in threads, which strangely seems to be a rare treat around here. The green poison high is kind of stupidity high. Like lazy, drunk yet much more capable than being drunk.

Not to hijack his question but I really really enjoyed Sannies Jack and Jackberry! Although the Jackberry was a little less in the potency department it tasted like blueberry pancakes and was a great daytime smoke!

Green Poison is the shit too! I am loving Sweet Seeds, every freebie I have gotten from them (I think 5 or 6) has turned out to be pretty on point with what the description was. Even my first jump into the auto realm with dark devil was alright, the yield was absolutely terrible but I had it in the veg tent and it was my first auto. It was however covered in trichomes, tasted, looked, smelled exactly like advertised.

Blows me away at how close some seed companies get with their descriptions. ( I expect it but I have been through so many companies that were far from the descriptions lol. )

I'm real curious about Sweet Seeds. Cream Caramel, Jack47 and Green Poison are all of interest. I almost ran Green something else freebie from Samsara mixing up the Green Poison with it in my head. I haven't seen a single person complain about Green Poison and from what I hear it's very fast as well which is always a bonus.

Female Seeds C99 is solid. It's not amazing though. I think Peakseeds version was a little more interesting from my perspective so I'm running a bunch more of those beans on this run. I can see being disappointed in it (the Female Seeds version), although I knew going in it was never going to be a mind blowing kind of a high. It had the nice uplifting qualities with the clear headedness and a bit of motivation as well like the Peak version, but not quite as noticeable.

I'm pretty sure there are some pics of the Jack in some old posts. I didn't take a tonne of close ups or anything. It was pretty solid. Has some potential in some respects but I really didn't like the floral nose it had. I was expecting more lemons based on the reports but I ran it a couple of times and both times both plants quite floral. Pretty similar plants but not identical. I'd run it again but I think I'd want to run a larger selection to find a winner. I will in fact be running it again eventually but other things are higher priority.

SP on the other hand you run through 10 beans and you can expect to find a real winner IMO. I'd run more because it's a true polyhybrid and doesn't breed completely true for anything except for the sweet undertones and a few other traits. But you can hit on all the important marks and find a super winner IMO. I found 3 great plants and unfortunately the super winner of the 3 died when I got sick and was in the hospital briefly. One of them is a real winner too in that it takes 7 weeks and is really potent but it doesn't yield a lot and is flop city which I personally find super annoying but have learned to live with. I will be getting that cut back in the next couple months maybe - depends on how bug free my buddies garden looks last time I got a clone from him it brought mites into my shit and those fuckers are just relentless.

Mites bred in BC that get passed around grow rooms have super resistance to shit. Guys have horrible practices here using nasty pesticides (and also organic stuff too but still applied in a way to promote resistance breeding) but maybe only one at a time because it works right? And then a few survive and all of a sudden those guys have a hell of a lot more resistance and so it goes.

Maybe that's just my perception but it seems very few people are ever rid of them once they get them here unless they are super diligent. I am free of mine after a battle. The stupid hot summer didn't help things either they love the heat.

The third pheno I found was good at 11 weeks better at 12. Yielded more than the other but not a lot more, similarly strong but more clear headed and less trippy. More mood enhancing a different buzz for sure.

* 3 great plants out of 6 plants total. The other 3 were good. All yielded more than the 7 week and 12 weeker I have now. About the same as the true winner which was also the most potent of all of them that I lost.

Also back up to 4 Amnesia Haze x Blueberry as I found the seed that slipped out of my tweezers.

I think I have something similar to that 7 week pheno of SP. I chopped this most recent one at 9 weeks, but it was looking done a week or two ago. I brushed it off thinking there's no way it could be done. Super sweet smelling, and very potent.... but like you said, doesn't look to be a good yielding plant and very floppy. Thankfully I used a tomato cage or the thing would have been laying on the floor.

very true.

but its not impossible.
had very viscous mites last year.
i think they came in after a fence install. weedy alley in the city. couldnt believe it.

i had to ditch tents, bring the winter inside, spray, clean, use no pest strips, and reduce my garden to clones under one dome.

washed those cuts for days & days before i ever tried to root them.

all in all i freed my home from the worst shit i ever saw. webs on plants. had to chop nugz & throw everything in bloack bags out back of my home. had 7 big ass trash bags outside full of plant related stuff.

these mites were very resistant to a variety of things i tried ....just like u noted. east coast bro.

it took removing ALL plant material, washing, scrubbing, and taking advantage of the brutal winter we had.
mites cant hibernate and survive a no pest strip. and they cant live for more than 7 days w/o food.

if it wasnt for a few friends, id still be looking for new mothers.
saved some stuff. was the worst ever. just getting back on track.

i used to be a HUGE fan of sweet seeds.

green poison is a great plant. vigor off the charts. weed is bomb midz.
does everything fast from clone to finish.

cream caramel ...yes !
i highly rec+ this strain from sweet seeds only... not royal queen, etc.

i have one going now. i always keep one around. weed is killer & flavorful & dense rocks.
had a bomb pheno dick making resin monster i didnt think to clone cause she was runty.

ill always look through those seeds. till i find a bomb winner. my people love it.
plus its dank.
