No no, let it make 'em bend, that's how you get strong stems. Look in my gallery for "Stalks of Steel", that's 100% wind action (and a couple of 'em took major falls off the deck when they were blown right off).

So are mine, and they're outside on the deck. And when the wind blows, they bend with it. It makes the stems and stalks stronger, I swear. :)

Some people suggest you turn the fan off at night or lessen the amount of moving air to give them a break. If you water early in the day like you are suppossed to, you do not need the fan running 24/7. If you are watering them right before lights out which you should not be doing, then run the fans 24/7.

Ok, I'll SEE your baby shots, and raise you some more.

But first I have to go outside and take the piccies.

Oh hey.. that romex in the one shot.. is it burned, or just has schmutz on it?

They are really stretched out. What kind of light are you using? and how far from the plants is it ?

i know they are extremely stretched they are under a 120v T3 Flood Light.. Halogen bulb...
i have all my CFL's im going to grow with, but.. i don't have a spot to move to , i need to build a grow box or something because where they are now is in an open room under that light.

The romex, the electrical wiring coming out of that wall. And shamegame's right, they do appear to be a little bit stretched. Not a lot, they grow to a certain height whether or not they're in full sun, but a little bit.

Then when it's time to transplant just plan on burying the stems a bit. I can tell absolutely NO difference now between the plants that were sown and sprouted "properly" (I put the first batch into big pots only half-filled with soil, stupid mistake) and those not. So, as long as you get them proper lighting before too long (I'm gonna guess a few days to a week) they should grow in just fine. FIMing helped mine a lot. :)
