Hello I was wondering what the recommendation for a fan and humidifier in a 4x8 tent would be? Thanks I'm advance.

Grab 6 inch fan from any growstoor and some flex pipe and Walmart has cheap humidifiers. Just don't add any of the crap that comes with it to condition the vapor. Just straight water.

I doubt a 6 inch will handle the lighting for a 4' x 8'

I got a Cloudline t6 in my 3x3x6 with a carbon filter on the discharge side and cannot go higher than speed 2 or my tent will cave in. I normally keep it on speed 1 with some slight negative pressure and a passive intake. For a humidifier, I suggest something with one of those cartridge filters inside and only use distilled water unless you want white dust covering EVERYTHING.

This worked perfect for my situation. This with dry winters stopped me from refilling small humidifier with subpar control settings daily. It takes some time to crank out 6 gal of water. Pretty small foot print so it fit well in my 4x4.

I’d be running a 8” inline or dual 6”.
humidifier I would get the biggest you can.
I have a 2800 sq/ft house hold one for my 3x3 lol.

You guys needing so much humidification under HID or what? Get an 8" ac infinity fan with the controller, set it to only come on as needed. Plants should provide the humidity if you're not overlighting.

depends on where you live. My humidity is very low in the winter 20-25%.
My tent stuffed full I still need a humidifier.

If I try to cycle the fan on humidity instead of temperature. My fans never come on and I get no air exchange

If the plants are so small that they're not filling the tent with humidity, they don't need air exchange. Do you monitor co2 levels?
No I don’t monitor co2 in a in sealed set up.

this is with 4 mature plants in a 3x3.
my temps get way to high befoe humidity goes more then 5-10%.
Just don’t work in my environment.

why aren't your plants transpiring like they should? you may have too much light....

425watt vero29s dimmed a little.
Not too much light imo.

At what point dose your humidity get to before your temps get too high? What you have no exhaust going?
