Fan/duct connection

thought i would give a quick update.....galvanized 10x8 reducer just arrived and will be set up tonight! will post pics later....any advice or critique is welcomed

I've been told FLIR is less of a concern than it is made out to be. Maybe some with more experience in law enforcement can correct me, but I know for a fact it was ruled as not to be probable cause. Not to say it can't be used to build a case against you, but from what I have heard the usage of it to detect small marijuana grows has dwindled significantly. Personally, I'm legal so I don't give a shit myself lol, but I've been in your shoes and didn't care much then either. As long as you're not growing 100's of plants I'd say don't sweat it, exhaust it outdoors.

I read an article recently that stated the courts ruled against the use of FLIR as a legal method to find and convict growers. Dont remember if it was federal or some state gov't. I still wouldnt put it past some of the crooks still using it and just put some other B.S. "probable cause" on record to conduct an investigation if someone happens to reside in a state that is still hanging on to the madness that is prohibition. Either way, i have a FLIR and can't see how they would be able to single out an individual unless they have a large room stacked with quite a few 1000w hid's and no insulation in the walls or attic.
