been trying to make rolling papers out of my frosty fan leaves anyone have the method
Fun! I am pretty sure you will have to roll the leaves up and let them dry. You won't be able to make them pliable. Have fun passing around the crystallized joints!

honey is my secret. i roll a good sized joint with papers, dip a fresh leaf blade in honey and wrap around a part of the j. i do this a few times untill i get the whole thing evenly wraped, then i let it dry for...... get this.... a whole week. i know right who could wait that long? the smoke is great tho, its what smoking a blunt is supposed to be

cbtwohundread, i was looking for some ideas for what to do with my leaves, and i won't have enough this harvest to want to invest in bags to make hash. i thought it was interesting to use the leaves instead of or in addition to papers, but then there's the whole deal about curing the leaves and all that crap, and that's just one more thing to have to wait for. plus it sounds like a PITA to do every time you want a blunt.so i was wondering about turning the leaves themselves INTO paper...? i looked up how to do it, and it seems simple enough.. from what i understand, pretty much anything that can be turned into pulp can be turned into paper. i dunno if some plants require like, glue or whatever to hold the fibers together though. but basically the leaves get mashed up to a fibrous pulp, spread over a mesh screen i think, and then pressed real hard to squeeze the water out and left out to dry. we all know dry leaves tend to crumble, but maybe the leaves will be good enough to make a pliable paper?
i harvest this week, so i will start to dry and cure the leaves at the same time as the buds. the leaves shouldn't take as long, so it'll give me time to attempt this paper thing.

or... has this already been done before?

i felt a little dumber than usual this morning when i thought back to when i used to buy "hemp" papers before. came in packs just like zig zags. they even had little green pictures of pot leaves printed on the papers and was scented like... not quite pot, but close enough to know what they were going for. lol

but so anyway, at least we know the idea has been out there for a while. those papers i used to get, excluding the green pot leaves printed on 'em, were an off-white, greenish color. kind of like the green from a mercury vapor hid bulb.. real soft. i doubt mashed up leaves naturally end up white, so maybe those papers were off-white because of their natural color? or just as easily, colored white paper. no way to tell.. i got them when i was in japan several years ago; i haven't seen them in the states.

leaves are still drying, so that's good. i'm tryign to kind of treat them as if they were buds. smoking fresh leaf is so horrible. i messed my throat up for a few days this month trying to smoke maybe half a leaf with some bud.

thats a good idea the hemp paper method u were talking bout johnny,,,i saw that method used by a tribe in the amazon if im not mistaken very primitive but effective method.....i was thinking about using hash oil to stick the paper and ad to the high....just a thought,,,i just think its a good idea to use as much of this plant some of us grow in mass,,,when so much of it goes into the compost heap or the bonfire you know,,,,lets keep the ideas rolling yall...

yea i hate to waste any part of the plant. one time i held on to the stems for a week, trying to figure out something and they got moldy, but it was a stupid decision to keep them anyway. haha. this will actually be my last grow for a while. i'm going to try another kind of plant that smells a lot less. basement growing is hard on the nose, and it's just too much for me to vent intake and exhaust down here. though i've thought of running a discrete "pipe" that looks like a rain pipe or something up to the roof with a real strong fan behind it.. but, i smoke too much to accomplish that. i smoke too much to drive to home depot just to get the supplies. lol

as far as using hash oil, it sounds good, but does it dry or stay tacky? i had a friend who tried honey, and it ended up completely stupid. a pain in the ass, messy, but tasted alright. i was wondering about using opium like you were talking about using the hash oil.

i can't think of any other way to use the leaves as wraps..

smoking honey wont harm my lungs in any way,,,,thats the only thing that made me shy away from honey,,,,as i will be using these daily when i get the method down packed,,,,the hardest part ive ran into so far is my fan leaves drying "too much" geting brittle and u cant worl with them i think in order for me to do this imma have to stick the fan leaves with the oil to already cured ishen then let it dry
