So what do you farmers think!

without a comparison to a plant of the same age, strain, and preferably same mother plant that hasnt had its fans leaves hacked off the results are meaningless

I think this question should no longer even be asked because you will get the same conflicting answers to the question as always.

That said, I'm on the never pull healthy leaves from your plants side but do remove some leaves for better access in my grow closet, sometimes a couple to increase airflow, sometimes a couple to prevent light being blocked to a major bud site. That's all during vegging. In general, I don't remove any leaves until the come off with a gentle pull.

Especially with those fat indica blades... You're plant may look better now, it would have yielded more bud if you simply pushed the fan leaves down so the branches beneath it can climb to the rest of the canopy.

Look at the Supercropping and Canopy Control thread and maybe you will realize how silly it is to remove healthy leaves while there are much better ways to 'help' the plant.

this is not the only time i grow a berrybomb! i always left 'em! LST and same techniques but the plant is giving too much energy to em then buds. i always harvested about 50g a plant with the fan leaves! so if i go above will always chop 'em!

i do super-cropping i just wanted to experiment this! and if i see a difference in yield i will adopt it personally! i have been told so many things in this forum! some advices scrapped my ladys so all i do now is experiment by myself and blame myself when i fail :) happy 420

yea man this whole topic is a can of worms. its better for people to just decide for themselves if they wanna do it or not. i dont subscribe to the theory that if i take off a few leaves during veg im going to lower my yields, i just dont think marijuana is that finicky. people use mother plants and take clones, sometimes hundreds of them, then flower the mother and it yields just fine. this is taking whole branches and side growth off not just leaves and the plant recovers just fine. but again, its up to the individual grower to decide what they want to do with their plants.

fyi, the usual suspects will probably pop into this thread and start calling us all stupid and idiots. they will be from both camps, pro-leaf and no-leaf lol.
