Ive just started my 1st indoor grow after 2 relativly decent outdoor grows.ive paid out a fair amount on buying everything i need,but ive just read an article on the rhino rc1 fan speed controller that i have just bought saying they are shit,i would like to hear your opinion on this.
I was lead to belive that these were an essential part of the grow tent set up by helping to maintain temps by speeding up and slowing down the fan,i have no hum what so ever from the controller at slow speeds,im currently just using a 5inch rvk fan to exhaust my air coupled to a rhino carbon filter,i thought by buying a named brand id be safe,i also read they drastically reduce the life of the motor in the fan.
Im only using the one side of the fan speed controller at tho mo,i will be purchasing an intake fan before summer arrives but as the weather here is shite i have no issues with too much heat yet.
