Fan/Vent/Light Run time

I just have a few questions regarding to the fan/vent/lighting. I understand the 18/6 for veg and 12/12 for flowering but when exactly would you start the 18/6 for the veg? Like once I get a seed to germinate and put it in a pot to grow, toss it in the grow tent and that starts the 18/6?

As far as running the fan how often should I do that? All day long or only when the lights on? As well as the exhaust fan/carbon filter how long/often should that run??

My setup will be a 36"x20"x62" tent with a 150 watt HPS, 4in exhaust fan with carbon filter, and an oscillating fan in the tent.

Yes 18/6 from the time the seed sprouts. I run my exhaust fan w/carbon filter 24/7 as well as the fan inside the tent to move air around. Sounds like you have your bases covered. Good luck and enjoy

Right on thanks for the quick responses! I'm trying to gather all the supplies and knowledge before I dive head first into this project. I want to do it right the first time! (Especially since its a 3 month long process)
