Fans in 4x4x6.5 feet grow tent

i was curious to see if it really matters with the fans for this size of grow tent. 750w mh for veg and 1000w hps for Flower. Right now I have a pretty good fan, but the base of the fan is STUPID big. So I’ve been looking around for some clip fans. I’ve been looking for ones that oscillate, but it’s a little more difficult finding some that do both and aren’t too pricey. Does it matter if they are oscillating? Also, how many fans do you think would be good for this type of set up? I have an in-line fan and carbon filter, I have 4 plants in 5 Gal smart pots

Oscillating fans arent a requirement. You can use clip on fans or another option is a monkey fan. They have a killer mounting system and come in an oscillating version. They are expensive, but worth it, imo.

In terms of airflow, I use the lighter test. If a lighter can stay lit, you need more. Ideally, it shouldnt light.

Appreciate it! I’ll start doing research on it now. How many fans would you say would need to be in there?

Man you weren’t kidding. 50$ for 1. Phew lol if I decided to not go with oscillating, how many fans would your recommend? If I did go with oscillating/ monkey, how many would you recommend?

I have a similar size tent and use 4 monkey fans. I use one over my light, mountED like a ceiling fan and the other 3 mounted in the corners X marks the fan:

BTW, amazon usually has a 4 pack of non oscillating monkey fans for around 89ish shipped.

Damn that’s a lot of fans. That’s not overkill or anything?

PM sucks....air flow prevents it. And those cheap clip fans are cheap. I had 2 of them burn out on the 2nd grow out of 4. I am going to get monkey fans myself. They will last a lot longer.

Pm sucks? What’s pm?

powdery mildew. caused by humidity being too high with a lack of air flow. Monkey fans were on sale locally so i ordered 3 myself. My last 2 clip fans will come out as soon as they arrive.

Sorry for the shitty drawing. Did it on paint, but with this set up the way it is, what do you think would be optimal for fan placement ? Circles are plants. I have 4 non oscillating monkey fans coming in before too long. Trying to figure out the best placement for the fans @captiankush
