Fans on Timers too?

I have a stealth/cab/basement grow going on (link in sig) and just thought of another question to ask my RIU support system. What does everyone do with their fans during your plants dark time? Leave them on 24/7 or turn them on with the lights? I have three 4 inch fans and one 6 inch blowing over, around and through my girls. At first I had them running with the lights, but lately have them on constantly. Opinions?

it depends on your temps i have two fans and have one running all day and night and then turn the other on when the lights go on. you could leave one on all night but if the plants get too much direct "wind" it could cause the leaves to get all twisted. i say try just one and see how it goes.

Temps are good, this is just one of my "fine tuning" questions for next run. First go at it is finishing up, last few weeks. Appreciate the input ant1408, +rep

Hey I have temps in the basement that stay between 65 at night an 73ish during the day. My box has its fans running on the same schedule as my lights. I do this for stealth reasons. I haven't had many problems and my plants grow just fine. If your temps are fine with the box off I say go for it.

That is what I have done since I went 12/12, just checking out other opinions.

The area in my basement is currently running a pretty steady 58 this week, slowly going up as we warm around here with Spring. Currently I have no temp issues at all, we will see as the basement warms. This is only my first try, trying to fine tune going forward!

i had my fans on a timer for one day. i saw, upon opening the cab, that the humidity went through the roof! all my plants had dew drops on them. good thing i was only in my first week flower
