So I have a 400W air cooled light and I'm wondering, do I need a fan in the tent to move air since the exhaust is pulling in air from outside the tent? And if so, how high do I turn up the fan, and do I want to have a moving fan? Thanks for any help + rep:weed::weed::weed:

yeah dood you definitley want a small oscillating fan to move air around your plants not to mention it will help beef up those stems

Air flow is very important, you should have atleast one oscillating fan. you want it where its just blowing the plants around a little.

I actually made a pic for my setup, you can ignore the other ducting in if you want.

it is best to move blower to other side of light making it a sucker. If there are any holes in the duct work or light it will suck air in them and blow it out of your room. Instead of creating a leak in the system it creates a vacuum.

Like this? Makes sense, except does it cool it down as good as it should since it's sucking and now blowing it into the tube?

while a fan is more efficient sucking than blowing, his orignal setup makes more sense because any leaks will blow air out of the cooltube & not suck smells in after the filter.
