Farmer Rick's Spring Crop

Snipped a sample small bud from the Fast Bud #2 today, and fast drying it. I know, I know, but just curious to try. Trichs are still clear/some cloudy so expecting it to be more cerebral rather than the heavy body stone I like, but will update this post later when the bud is dried and I can try a smoke.

9 weeks from 12/12 on the photoperiod was yesterday. 8 weeks if you count from first pistils.

The small immature FB#2 sample I smoked speaks well, despite being immature and the trichomes clear, it definately gave me an good headie, but little physical, but that was expected at this stage. Strangely, it also gave me a boner...

Also think I'm optimistic on my time-left, but right now I'm checking the trichomes twice daily for the switch to amber, as I love a heavy physical couchy stone. Got no idea of predictions on yield, but we'll see. Either way its nice to know I'm going to have a nice stockpile to last me a few months, and can get started with my Christmas grow - xmas is a really hard time of year for me, so I plan on completing another grow before then in order to spend the holidays monged out my tits, lol

Its going to be a staged harvest I'm certain, some will be ready before the others, however I may even half harvest the ready ones, then give the lower buds a chance to mature more before harvesting etc. Either way, will post progress reports as soon as there is more to say.

Those OG Kushes were from Feminized Seeds company, although don't see those beans listed in Attitudes anymore, they're Black Domina x OG Kush, so they damn well better be heavvvyyy as thats what I've convinced myself they'll be like, lol

Its still growing, its just not as mature as the ones I'm currently tracking, she's fine and on course, just be another week or two before she gets interesting, lol

Sorry for the lack of updates, I've been transitioning work and had a lot of distractions, so whats new?

The Fast Bud #2 yielded about 3/4 of an ounce in total, which is fine. Smoked that puppy, it didn't give me a couch lock or even a significant physical, although it did motivate creativity and generate a comfortable head high. Good for vegging on front of daytime (read: shite) tv and/or being creative in whatever form. Would I grow it again? Probably. It didn't blow me away, but used right it is a nice plant, and its hardy too which is good news for those who aren't yet comfortable. It being an auto is a big factor in its ease of growing I reckon.

The OG Kush and the Big Big 2, both of them are nearer 14 weeks (unlike the 8 weeks flower claimed by the bank I got them from), so that knocked my time calculations all wrong. The OG Kushes amazingly are still cooking, although they'll likely be harvested very soon.

I chopped the Big Bang 2 this morning, cut off the main nug, trimmed it and she's hanging up to dry before curing. The nug in this photo (taken mid trim) is 42.6 grams fresh, so I expect the dry weight to be 10-12 grams give or take. This doesn't include the many other decent sized nugs left, so I think in total the BB2 will net about 2 ounces smokable product, give or take a half score.

Its nice to have some smoke, I'm going to stash a lot of it for the coming months as I don't want to be without at Christmas.

I've also got the Super Iced Grapefruit to harvest soon, again thats taken a lot longer than I was lead to believe, but so be it
