Bob. You are making this really difficult. Those few words fuck up every thing you say. Why is a wine tasting party ok, but patients buying legal meds and appearing like they are at a wine tasting party a fucked up thing? Marijuana cheers people up, so when it works they are guilty of something? I am going to log off. It is 11:52. If I don't log off, there is a good chance when the clock strikes 12:00 I could turn into an asshole.
And I still have pics and shit to download. It'll be there with coffee and a joint. Lord willing.
I have no problem with the appearance of a wine tasting party. I say bring hookers too.
I'm trying to explain that that 50 yo voter that passed this thing, perceives it as a wine tasting party.
They in fact, are the same ones who voted it in, The millions of voters who passed this bill, but do not participate, see that and, just like with voting..they tell their politicians what THEY think too.
The 140,000 (or whatever the current count is) legal medical participants....need to think about what the 3 million or so non participant voters think.
That 3 million want it clean and out of sight. They are not out to oppress anyone...but they voted in medical. Take cannabis out of it for a second. They voted in medical...and every thing that they know that is medical, is clean, orderly, professional...AND pretty invisible.
Probably only half of the actual registered users of this law, approve of how it's been implemented so far. Not the lack of defenses, not the lack of access (those piss off everyone) IMPLEMENTATION....lansing had what..70 "dispensaries" at the peak?
That's a few too many. I mean, how many cardholders can there be in Lansing? Can there be 5000 card holders in Lansing?
I mean there are only 140,000 or so of us..this is a big State..how many can Lansing have?
I mean, from a talking "medical" standpoint, Why do you need 70 dispensaries for 5000 people, when 25 pharmacies can serve the entire population?
The people taking this law down..Isn't really the cops, or the legislator, It's the 3 million voters that don't participate. They tell their reps how disappointed they are too...just like we do.
The medical cannabis people, the card holders if you will, act like the law is all about what THEY want. Most forget that they are a small voice in the total pool of voters.....then those people that helped vote this in...well, they start to think they made a mistake when the see how we "self implemented" the law.
Hope that makes sense.
