Flip to flower when the first 5 fingered leaves show up. I grew this way for 3 or 4 years back in the day.

Yep that's what I do. 5 finger then flip. Solo cup the whole run. Depending on nutes/genetics you can go full bud on a stick or a lil regular looking plant.

This plant is an auto at 70 days from seed? A auto with thc? Thats cool! I see breeders market that which I fell for and it was marketed as the fastest growing cannabis plant in the world.
How easy is it to get a 70 day pheno? Whats the breeder and seed bank?
Just curious. Been reading here for 2 years and just dont see that. I see people say they never seen this before but here you are lol.

I've had several breeders go 60 to 70 days...RQS Mimosa, Fastbuds a few different ones, Sweetseeds is my favorite...they also have several that will finish fast. I see some advertised as 7 to 8 weeks cotyledon to harvest but fastest I had was 60 days. It takes an almost perfect grow for them to do it though. Any stress slows them down so I do no training or defoliation......at most maybe remove 1 or 2 fan leaves and tuck a few along the way. Also a strong main light seems to help, in flower I like 800 to 1000ppfd also I use ir and uva to get good bud density and potency. I buy a lot from Seedsman because they have a good selection of breeders and freebies galore.

Wow interesting. The people I read saying otherwise should check this out. I grew like 4 autos not all of them were grown right but they didnt seem like theyd be done as advertized.

I like smaller plants that give about a half ounce to 2-3 ounces rather then bigger plants because I feel like they finish faster/ on time to the recommendation of the seed companies. Dudes will veg a plant out for 3 months and tuck it all in their scrog net and then wonder why the seed pack says 58-64 days but their plant isn't ready lol
Also I feel like the bigger you go you start to do a trade off of quality and quantity. The smaller plants I have grown seemed to smell more stronger/ better terps, they get better lighting because there isn't a big bush blocking all the light, the buds look nicer imo, the buds were denser, less to trim at harvest, and if you need to move them due to a security issue they are small enough to hide in a storage bin or move to a new location.
I knew a guy that had a 1000w hps 10x10 room packed with 6 huge plants, and at harvest he would get a half pound from the whole room. And another guy I know had 1000w 10x10 room he flowered six 10-12 inch clones and knew exactly what strains to grow and exactly what they wanted and he would get 3-5 ounces per plant, we would have smart pots that looked like just fat colas growing out of the Coco! His plants looked like cactus or octopus, big old branches flopping over, couldn't hold themselves up there was so much bud each branch, he would always be giving the first guy bud to hold him over til harvest lol

You got any pics at chop? Not gonna lie those dont look done. I try to go for something like this which Im chopping thursday or fri.
Ill chop with a dozen or two of white hairs but usually on the lowers that dont have the best light or any as a matter fact.
