Not sure what I've done to display my ignorance to the wonderful people of État de Louisiane, but it is unintentional to be sure. The original quote came from her father (a very big hearted Chauvin shrimper) somewhere around 30 years ago - and I'm sure he was being humorous at my expense because he said it very slowly in english so I would "get it". I did.
All told I have lived in Houma, Dulac, Chauvin and Lake Charles, and enjoyed every minute of it, so I do infact know more than some of the Acadian culture.
And the look on her face the first time she ever saw mountains and snow was priceless.

Theres a place around here also called Pizza House that is one of the best ive tried. They use some kind of sweeter sauce and the bbq chicken pizza there is awesome.

Luigis pizza - Sacramento, Cali

Zenos pizza - Marshalltown, Iowa

i'm still hung up on anyone thinking pizza hut has the best pizza. or domino's. the two most disgusting chef boyardee pizza chains i can even think of. the whole deep/thick pizza idea is gross to me. i like my pizza thin and tasting like someone italian made it, not chewy bready cafeteria food. thick pizza causes major texture/flavor fail. i can't name my favorite pizza place for stealth reasons (it's named after the city) but around here i'm all about papa gino's for chain pizza. i think they only go down south as far as maryland or so, and they might have a few in ny state but it's a new england chain. that's my shit if i'm not near my usual place.
