Favorite Grow medium for seedlings, vegetative, flowering (Aeroponics, hydroponics)?

I'm thinking about using Jiffy starter pellets for seedlings, and most likely rock wool for vegetative and flowering (hydroponics.)

What is everyone's favorite transition from seedling---->vegetative------->flowering?

I've heard you should use the same medium while transplanting. What's a good medium for seedlings when they start to grow fast and root?

Personally I use the root riot plugs. While I've had success with the pellets, the riot pluggs are way better as far as ease of use. Also if using rock wool it is key to not let the medium dry out. My medium of choice is coco. A little more forgiving than rock wool. 5.8 ph for water and same thing don't let it get dry it allows salts to build up. If you do use the pellets just make sure you don't get them too wet seems to waterlog clone and takes forever.

Thanks for the reply. I just read that Jiffy are not good for seedlings if you plan to transfer to hydroponics. I am starting from seeds, not clones.

I will probably buy Root Riot Organic Plant Starter Cubes that I found on the web's most popular online retailer. I think that will work until they are tall enough to vegetate, then I will move to a vegetative/flowering medium.

You use coco for vegetative/flowering?
