Trust..... For future could u possibly put stakes/poles under the main colas to prevent them from snapping? Just a thought anyway. Hope things don't end up to bad.

Got the same situation here, and recently had incapacitating illness and so cant pick up and move into shade. Hopefully it will ease up and we'll get some sun and a slight breeze.

But I'd take the advice of matey who suggested placing small plastic bags over the better of the colars.

I really feel bad for you. I lost over half of my citrus trees last winter due to the heavy freeze night after night. I lost 10 out of 19 trees. I'd been babying these trees for 7 years and in three nights I lost 10. But the survivors grew like gangbusters this summer. You're such a fantastic grower I'm sure you'll be able to save a goodly amount of your forest. I sure hope so.
