Feeding clones

in my experience a healthy mother is a must. Low intensity light would be next.
IMO, nutes while trying to root is counter productive, you want it to root ( hormone change), not grow.
Yellowing comes from the plant feeding off it's self while trying to grow.
I find using an aero cloner (Clone King ) is pretty fool proof.
I run perpetual, & can reliably count on a bushy roots by day 14.

good luck
But you are still giving the plants something in the clone res, no? Its not like its just straight PH'd RO in there.

there should be a gromet on top of the power box that lets you lift and reveals a screw that when turned dimms the light. thats if hig's have that function
It was a trick question. You can't dim them. I have 3 of them.

should i be feeding clones
As far as I understand....no. If a clone can get food why should it grow roots? was what I was told.

Rapid Rooter & potting soil, no rooting compound, heat pad & dome, misted every morning and kept the tray dampish. Success 8/8.
Now that roots are showing, I'm hardening them off.
