Feeding frequency during flowering

I have been bubbling 24-48 hours prior to feeding to level out PH, but didn't know if there is advantage to feeding every watering during flower? I will stop last two weeks and just water to flush... Would this feed water/feed schedule be the same in both coco and soil? If so, what would be the benefits to skipping a feed?
