So it's really hot in California so my outdoor smartpots are drying up in like 2 days the top part really drys up after 2 days(about 1/4 of the top part is completely dry after 2 days 3/4 to the bottom seems okay but it drying fast) . Once i put the nutrients the first week . Do i have to put a new batch of nutrient every week or every time i feed it. Or just water it with ph water till the next week?

Usually with soil you go

Water water feed.

Water water feed.

So if you are watering every 2 days on the 6th day feed.

Be careful with your nutrient dosage. If your plants are absorbing water faster, they are absorbing more nutrients as well.

I personally think you are better off with pots that dry much faster. It might be harder to keep from under watering them (if you aren't able to be around them constantly) but if you do have the time, drying quicker allows for more feeds and faster flushes when you need to rinse excess nutrients out of the soil if they start to burn.

If it takes a week to dry, then think about it you can only feed it like 5 times during all of flower (if flowering for 8 weeks).
