See alot of opinions on feeding schedule. What is a good formula to develop what is right for you.

I have clones in small rock wool cubes that will be surrounded by hydroton. Do i wait til hydroton is dry, or just every 2, 3, 4 hours.

and do i change in between veg and flower or just stay consistent.

What type of system are you using. (Ebb n Flow, Drip, Aero, etc..)

I use a manual ebb n flow type of setup for my clones and seedlings. (I use drip for flowering) I fill the 12" x 24" tray with a one gallon jug four times a day durring the light hours. The drain hose makes it take about 15 minutes for the tray to completely drain. Hope this helps, it's all I have to offer as far as info on your setup. Someone who has more experience with ebb n flow may have more information to offer.

Oh, yeah... You may have to water more often durring flowering. I do, because I use florescents for veg and HPS for flowering. And I believe the plants need more nutrents and water durring flowering. I used my drip system for my first crop all the way through, and had to doubble the number of feedings durring flowering.
