Agree with dannyboy602, they don't need feeding for at least the first few weeks and don't over water them either. Worse than wasting money, you may kill these seedlings with too much love :leaf: Like cow bell, more light is always good :eyesmoke: IMO, these lil ones really don't need much more light until you start feeding them. Or until they have enough leaf area to soak up the added light.

Good luck

Ya you have plenty of light for right now. As long as the lights are within a few inches. Depending on the soil you use, you may not need to feed until the first month or two. My last plant did need any food until flower and I still only gave it molasses. I'm sure a little food would have helped the yield a bit, but the plants will tell you when they need food.

this is what i looked at just wondering i figured it was not a good idea just wanted to see what other people do
ppl that manufacture fertilizer don't have your best interest at heart as a rule because they make money only if you buy their product. I think you have good intentions however and if you only fertilized a little you should be ok. but because seeds can cost so much money I wouldn't take the risk personally. little seedlings need so very little and it's easy to overdo it. many new growers do. wait then until your plants are a month old then feed at about half strength is my advice. an even better way to grow is to grow organically with ground minerals which won't burn if you use too much. it works for me and it's foolproof.

yeah i did NOT feed my plants anything yet i was just interested as im still trying to grasp to idea of the nutrients, but how could the plants tell me that they need food, im still trying learning

This is one area where less is usually more. When you understand what your plant(s) are supposed to look like, they "tell" you when something goes awry. The signs could be droopy leaves, changes in leaf color or spots (deficiencies an/or overdoses), changes in leaf shape, new growth color and leaf size, etc.....

dannyboy602 hit the nail on the head again. Nute companies have no reason to care if you fry the shit outta your plants. As long as they can sell you more nutes. Sort of like big Pharmaceuticals and Doctors  Why exercise and watch your diet when you can use our drugs instead?

That is for if you are using soil that has nothing in it basically no nutes to begin with or anything even then you dont want to start feeding until you start seeing signs of low nutrients. I grow in MG soil and only feed when I see signs of low nutrients look at the thread in my signature there is a image of what deficiencies look like. You wont see any of them in the seedling stage and generally not even until after you have transplanted and let them veg for a month or so.
