Feeding?

What kind of plant food should I use for seedlings, if any? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

wait at least 4-6 weeks to give ferts, then only if they need it.

another question. the area I'm planting in, I never put down any fertilizer or anything last fall, so before I transplant the plants from their pots, should I put all that down before I plant them? And when should I transplant them? my seedlings are almost a week old. (they're not too big yet)
