ya i was thinking it, but my last grow i had going i did that with mild effects and a very harsh taste. what im thinking of doing is cutting off the top and any buds that are ready and then throwing her back under the light to finish off the rest, im not sure if it works like that any idea?

yes deffinety has a nice skunky smell to it with a faint berry scent. the leaves have a bluish tint on them but the buds are like any other, but im only on week 4 of flowering. how would you rate the smoke on a scale of 1-10?

ive heard of ppl doing that sort of thing, taking the top half of ur plant to let the rest grow out. ive also heard of ppl plucking the buds off and getting a 2nd harvest from the same plant........madness

thats also an option i might try that to i hear you get a bigger yield the seconde time around because the plant is fully matured

ill have new pictures up tonight ill put last weeks pictures next to the new one's for comparison

ok here they are it will take me a minute to get them up but i will onloy be comparing the two main buds the first one is this week and the second is last week

first one is this week seconde is last week this is the bud that got burnt in the box it looks about the same but its not my camera is a piece of crap i could not get a good angle

there might be doubles of the pictures up there^^ just enjoy!! by the way she is growing, i think i might actually be able to pull 1 1/2-2 oz's from her....i have a picture there my plant next to a trash can, the can is about 3 feet tall so i tied down the tallest point of the plant so if you add about 6 inches to the plant thats how tall she really is..........................i just noticed that picture 14 is the bud that got burnt so look at this one for comparison.

ill explain the best i can. the way i do it is to open 2 tabs, have one on ur riu profile and add ur pics to an album, in the other tab have where u want to post, open the pic u want in the first tab and at the bottom it has the url copy that, in the other tab select to post a pic and click on the url tab, paste link in box and uncheck the lil box and ur good to go, hope u get it from that, if not holla at me again bro

so if u go to your profile and click on a pic thats already there, copy the url, and post it

heyy watsup man? looking good man. i love nirvana seeds. ive grown their WW a couple times.. super skunk.. and im finishing up a full moon now (u can click my sig. if u wanna see them.. i got LOTS of pics!! about 70+) and ive always wanted to try a blue mystic... along with a few others.

another way to make the pic bigger... if u upload pics onto ur comp. from ur camera.. adn place them in a journal.. u can just click on "go advanced" right next to post a quick reply... and look where u can change the fonts... etc.. you will see a lil square box with a tree in it... to the right of the globe... just click that.. and find the folder u put the pics in... and click on w.e. pics u wanna upload/make big (this is how i uplaod all my pics... i like it better than using photobucket or imageshack)... then click on upload pics/files.... after theyre finished uplaoding.. you will see them in ur reply box.. now jsut drag the mouse pointer over the pic... adn go up to the TOP LEFT part of the picture.. adn u will see a lil pencil... click on that.. and u will see an option to make the picture large.. click that and Wallah!! =D picture should be full sized. =)

hope this helps. and PS.. it is true that if u harvest ur plants right from darkness.. the THC will be higher.. this is because light decays THC... soo teh THC levels are highest while the plant is in darkness.. and once tge light comes on.. the THC levels start to decrease slowly but surely.

and its best to harvest wen trichs are about 50% amber... but its nmore or less up to you.... harvesting the plant wen there are MORE than 50% amber trichs... will give u more of a body stone a.k.a. couchlock.. the "sleepy/stony" high... adn harvesting less than 50% amber trichs will give u more of a head high or "uppy" high.. more awake/daytime smoke.. and obviously... at 50%-50% amber-cloudy trichs is a bit of both.. which is what most people go for. =)

thanks for the info, and yes you did kinda clear some questions i was not completely sure about. i thought after you hit the 50-50% amber the thc starts to get weaker, i read this a long time ago... and about the dark time before harvest your the 3rd person here who has told me that this is true so i will definitely do it,, probably about 2-3 days max because of mold.

ok good. =) im glad sum of it helped. and naa u can let it go for a bit longer than 50-50 and it'll be fine.... it'll jsut give u more of STONE high.

and yeaa the dark period will help a lil bit. =) i would do it like 2 days.. alotta people will tell you that if u leave it in darkness for 2-3 days... it will give u more resin.. which isnt really true.. cuz i mean... it takes weeks and weeks and weeks for the resin/frost to form... soo its kinda impossible for frost to form in only a couple days... its jsut the light degrading the THC that effects it. cant wait to see the pics man. =) +Rep

thanks, ill have new pictures up on tuesday it will be week 5 of flowering. i like doing it that way so that there is a real difference between the new pics and the last, dont want to over croud this thead with the same pics since im only growing this one plant.

The info I posted regarding 72 hrs of darkness increasing THC by 30% wasn't a matter of opinion or rationalization. It was done under laboratory testing protocols to determine maximize potency for pharmaceutical mj. It is a matter of record and can be researched for an accurate assessment.

I think it is more about degradation of THC than forming resin or frost.

gotta be carefull of mould building up tho so take caution...................
