This is the best way to deal with it. Water deactivates pollen. But important lesson, you need to look at every plant every day looking for anything that comes up. That plant looks more hermie than male, but that's just a guess. Looks like immature male flowers. Are you seeing spiky growth in the flowering sites or is it hairs? Spiky growth is usually indicator of true males.get a spray bottle and mist everything down with water when you go into dark cycle
