Feminized Seeds

The way I have been doing it is to grow the plant in soil until I can take cuttings and get them started. I usually take 2 sets of cuttings a week or so apart, just to cover my ass and then I flower the mother. After the clones veg for a while, I take cuttings from them and move the "mini-moms" into the flower room. 3 flowering units on a 3 week harvest cycle.

The only hermies I have had are Dutch Passion Blueberry and Strawberry Cough. They really fucked things up. I am just now starting to recover. Cant let that kind of crap slow you down, you just gotta keep on growing.

so you are succesfully cloning fem seeds then, i dunno why but i was always under the misguided notion that you couldnt clone fem seeds that the clones will be unstable? dunno where i got that piece of useless info from.

Does anyone know where feminized seeds come from? Are they genetically altered? Or do they come off certain plants? Whats the damn trick?!

I have read that information a number of times on this forum, but I didnt understand it well enough to try and tell anyone how it is done.

i wouldn't call it genetic alteration, it's rather simple when you think about it, it's just simply breeding a hermie with a female, and the result is feminized seeds, breeders usually force a female to hermie by light stress, heat stress, over-ripening, etc. thats pretty much how they do it! So next time you see a hermie, remember that they're noit completely useless!

I had a DP Blueberry hermie on me and knocked up every plant in the room. Does that mean all those seeds are feminised?

if u hermie you could try a product called dm reverse, i read about it on here( i used feminized seeds too) i had half a full grow fuckin hermie on me ( i sure as shit was not a happy bunny) heres a thread all about hermies and how to feminize seeds, btw its a big thread and a lot of the info further in is only readable if ur very very clued up on plant biology( its university level at times) but its easily the best thread on the subject that ive seen
https://www.rollitup.org/advanced-marijuana-cultivation/139699-dutchmasters-reverse-study-hermies.html
btw i bought the stuff and my hermies (3 outta 6 plants) all produced bud and gave me more than 10 oz in total, so i'd definetly buy it again, lets face it if it gives u 1 oz then its paid for its self and its good to have it sitting in your grow room just in case of future problems, saves u running around with much wailing and gnashing of teeth.

I had my own solution to the hermie problem.
Step 1: I killed every fucking blueberry plant that I had grownig, threw them out in the yard and pissed on them.
Step 2: never order another seed from Dutch Passion.
No more hermie problem
