Feminized stress hermie

Hi Guys,

I had a plant stress from flowering too long and it hermied slightly.
just a few nanners - clones from the same plant never hermied in later grows so it was definitely stress that made it hermie.

This stress hermie plant crossed with some other fems in my tent and apparently those seeds are all legit fem seeds if i understand correct.

My question:
The fem that stress hermied also seeded itself. will the self pollinated seeds be ok to use?
i know that fem hermie x with other fem is fine. but fem hermie x SELF is that ok?

Not sure but i think they will hermie too.

As far as I know, seeds from a hermaphrodite are pretty much always gonna herme on you.

Lots of folks freak w hermies, but i've had hermies w Hemlock, Double Bubba, Lohan and BioChem Fems (these came from Reserva Pravada and 303 seeds and they really tended to herm) that have self pollinated and have cross pollinated. Those resulting seeds have germinated quickly and have grown large, healthy female plants that are either almost exact duplicates of the "mother" plants or they have made some very interesting crosses; Biochem x Hemlock - BioLock - has been incredible. Yes, they may also tend hermie, but I just pluck any male flowers I see (they are usually very few, and easy to spot the set of balls prior to opening) and let them continue. Sometimes however, I will allow them to pollinate as I know they'll produce all female plants. Given that I have to grow from seed and can only grow 1-2 times a year, having seed stock that I know is fe on hand is always a comfort, especially now with the mail system challenges.

my previous harvest was quite seeded but honestly the weed was fantastic and all those seeds are now being stored for use.
my idea was exactly as you described. just grow em and pull nanners off.
every now and then ill harvest some nanners and use the pollen to make more seeds.

i actually crossed OG Kush with Purple #1 and im very excited to see whats gonna happen here.
am i actually gonna get og purple. lol im gonna find out cos the seedlings are already on week 2

Nanners and hermies are different.

Nanners should produce female seeds and is not guaranteed to "herm".

A actual hermied plant will have the tendency to produce herm seeds.

Big difference between the 2.

Thanks for your input, exactly what i was wondering. Seedlings from my nannered mother are stretch and branches weak and elongated i dont like the node spacing at all! Nitrates will do it. Running canna coco line had to add some nectar products for better nitrogen and humic/fulvics the medusa and zeus.
