Is fennel okay to grow around my cannabis? I heard it can polinate other plants and fuck them up.

Yeah that's what I've read as well. I don't know what other plants it would effect and doubt cannabis would be but.. i figured it was worth asking lol. Would be crazy to end up with some kind of weird hybrid haha

I just noticed if you cross fennel with dill you would still get "fenill"
I happen to know this one....I planted fennel right next to my 7 1/2 foot sativa and now she has a licorice smell.....I love licorice so this is woorking out...also I had no stunting of growth what-so-ever..............Mine are flowering as we speak....I will let you know if it has a licorice flavor after harvest.... ☮

lol that's awesome. I wouldn't be opposed to licorice tasting bud if it doesnt hurt potency. haha.
When do you harvest Fennel? it's my first time and its beginning to flower, do I let it flower until the base is 3-5 inches?

no first hand exp but i cant see the two species crossing it wouldnt make sense. i do know dill in my veg garden seems to be resistant to most bugs and animals. so mb it might be an advantage?

try recon if u have a chance to get it... after 65 days the flowers go from a fruity floral smell to a rank pungent black licorice smell... totally intoxication..

I read something about when fennel flowers it will have some sort of effect on other plants and I cannot afford for that to happen I have alot of veggie in the mix of my garden..so the first sign of flower I would take the flowers off....then I finally decided to yank the fennel a few weeks ago only because I was starting to put my girls in 36 then 12 and 12 and didn't want them to interfere with the flowering....first time grower.....and absolutely got lucky I think....we will see
I actually found out about the smell of licorice when I was trimming the fan leaves....I kept thinking I was smelling fennel....very trippy but hope it doesn't effect the high....I have one right next to the one by the fennel and it doesn't smell the same .... I don't really know but I am learning ☮ ☮

It's ok thanks for the help. Yeah that's what I read was the fennel crosses with Dill if they're both in the same area.Interesting about it effecting your smoke though, sounds cool.
