PM ALERT!!!
Last night I saw on my Chemo that was doing so well some PM (powdery mildew), I was like WTF!!! looked around and I found 2 leaves that had traces of it on a younger Agent Orange as well, so 2 plants affected in the tent. It's the early stage of it and I am really considering pulling both of them out. I had just dropped some Agent Orange pollen on 2 little nugs of the Chemo... Anyway, I removed the affected leaves, brought the portable fan at canopy level instead of being on the cealing blowing down. As soon as I see any, ANY sign of PM on either one of those 2 plants I will take them out, I sure hope I don't see it on other plants in the tent, the 2 AO in the corner are doing so well.
This morning I go into my room, what do I see, PM!!! On a younger plant that was just starting to bud, 2 plants in the same container, the one next to it shows no sign of PM yet so I pulled the affected plant (she was so purdy...) from the container and disposed of it. I really dont get it, she was in the middle of the room getting plenty of fresh air from the portable fans, RH at 40 and temp at 24-29 . I am puzzled. I am thinking perhaps I might have brought this from my outdoor squash or something (there is a fair bit of PM in my yard atm...) but still my environment doesnt make it easy for PM to grow... very frustrating.
I really don't want to have to start fighting PM in my perpetual setup it will be a nightmare. I am worry I am gonna lose a bunch of buds, and time...
If I have to start over, there will be no more 12/12 from seed, it will be one batch at a time so that I can clean my setup very well in between grows, it could also be my problem ,... I am on my second run in a row without really cleaning , but everything looks clean!!
AH FUCK ,... anyway, HAPPY GROWING EVERYONE
