Fertilizer ratio?

I am going to be buying some fertilizer soon and i coudn't find any info about the ratio/composition, ex. 5 - 10 - 5 that was conclusive. My plants are sativa, over a month old and are 2-3 inches tall. Should i be looking for fertilizer high in nitrogen? And once they flower do i use a differnet ratio of elements in the fertilizer, like more phosphorus? thanks, i will prolly be getting my ferts from Home Depot

Sorry if this was already covered in another thread, i couldn't find anything.

Use A Ratio Around 15-10-15 And When The Plants A In The Flowering Stage Use A Bloom Ratio Something Like 10-15-10

during veg your plants want higher nitrogen levels, and then higher potassium levels during flowering... see the FAQ

My two cents: I never found any nutes at HD that were worth a damn. The only thing worth getting that they carried was Superthrive. JMHO

Well different areas carry different items. Check the website. Same with most Big Box Stores.
Ain't gonna sell too much pork salt in NYC, or caviar in Alabama. Stores adapt.

I went to Home Depot and they didn't have much, mostly Miracle Gro. So i bought some better soil and some miracle gro fertilizer for tomatos. Its 18-18-21 but i diluted about 1/3. Is that okay to use? Some people say to never use miracle grow, but i needed to get something.

For what its worth, I have 3 plants in flowering in 5 gal buckets each.
One in FF soil
One in MG Mositure Control soil.
One in a combo. of the 2

The MG only plant is doing the best.
The combo is the worst.
The FF is doing OK.

Nutes for the flowering is FF Tiger Bloom and Big Bloom.

MG has 2 types of nute. One is a time release other is a water soluble. Go for the water soluble. Time release seems to be the kiss of death, because its unpredictable.
