I got some food (CNS17) for my plant but i haven't used fertilizer. Can I put some organic veggie fertilizer in the soil? I used some kind of potting soil that proably had nutrients but it has been a few months...

Sorry if my question doesn't make sense. I am pretty cluelss.

I did look for answers on google before posting this but I am still confused.

hold back on the food until plants are strong and healthy
If your in strong soil you might not need feed untill mid bloom

I only have one plant, I had 3 but 2 died when they were babies...

This plant is pretty big, it's about 2.5 feet tall and it has a stem like a tree branch. It has been out in heavy rains, the soil feels very packed. It's in a pot.

I gave it some food, do you think it's OK to do nothing for a while?

Yea you can feed it. Give half strenght feeds.
U have to figure out the ppm of the soil to decide when to feed.
I grow in a very light soil called Sunshine mix or Promix. Same thing cept promix is strong to start off so you just give water. Sunshine i add small amount of nutrients to the water coupled with Vitamax(b1).
I recomend B1 if you are growing anywhere stressfull.
Anyways the "soil" i use is good because i pretty much get to pick what ppm i want my soil to be when they go into bud. I grow by the week like most people do so i feed once and water once. Its called SOILLESS hence there is no soil in the mix. Soil is aka minerals/organic.
This isnt new to anyone but you. Do some research. Im sure u will find some help

seems like each guy's technique works best for them. i would ease into the nutes at 25% strength and see what happens .. go slow with the nutes till ya see how the plant reacts.
