Fertilizing Advice

Hey guys I have my outdoor plant and I was looking for someone to confirm my fertilizing plan because this is my first grow and I have no clue what i'm doing. My plant is approximately 6 inches tall. I use Peter's "Jack's Classic" 20-20-20. I know the picture is terrible but if you look closely there appears to be some nute burn on the tips on the 2 lower leafs. This nute burn occured right when I transplanted it. It looks to have recovered nicely and all the rest of the leafs atleast to my knowledge look very healthy. The fertilizer recommends fertilizing every 7-14 days. Seems like 7-14 days is too general for something as delicate as growing a good healthy plant. I've fertilized twice so far with about 1/8 tbsp. per Gallon of water. The fertilizing was done about once a week. I've had the clone about 3 weeks, so i've fertilized it twice. My watering plan is to let the soil completely dry and then water it. I live in SoCal so it takes my soil about 3 Full days of sun to completely dry up. Anyways, onto my questions.
Do you think it's ok to start giving it more than 1/8 tbspn/gallon, when i've fertilized it twice already at that solution.
Would it be better to use a 1/8 fertilizing solution on every watering session. or 1/4 Tbsp. every other watering session?
How gradually would you start increasing your fertilizing solution. Example: Maybe adding 1/16 per week until you hit the recommended full dosage?
And also what's the max fertilizer solution that I should use. Is it best not to give more than 1/4 tbsp. solution per week? Even when the plant is 2-3 months old?

I just watered it about 2 hours earlier. It's regular soil from my backyard mixed with Edna's organic potting soil or something. We grow alot of beastly tomatoe plants in this backyard so I think the soil is pretty decent.

ganja and tomatoes take about the same nutrients to produce a healthy crop. If you can grow good tomatoesthen your weed plant will grow great aswell. I say add nutients every other week. and water when you water your tomatoe plants. good luck your plant look nice

if it grows some beastly tomato's it should grow some dank budz.

*edit* yea, like matt said, just fert with the same stuff as the tomato's.....my buddy's wife does it and she grows some of the dankest bud i've had.

i just use the powers system until i get to the best place for the plants then fine tune it.
like...2 to the power of 4...(2x2(x2)x2) 2x2=4x2=8x2=16
ima math nerd....just keep doubling untill the leaves get small brown spots then cut back.
i've never done it with just one plant tho...i usualy have 10 and only one gets ferts untill i know what they can handle.
