Few Q's to be A'd

Hello, all! I noticed the one thread about odour control and DIY karbon filters, and was curious to tell if any of you know how to control odours with a well ventilated room. Do the ionizing air purifiers work effectively at removing scent? I've heard they are, but I'm skeptical of that fact.

Also, the other day I bought a green CFL "party light," and I was wondering if these bulbs, like a green incandescent, are also "invisible" to the plants during their photoperiod?

Thanks,
Wolf

I would recommend buying a carbon filter it is worth it. I got mine on ebay for 115 and it works great. As for your party light Idk but I would'nt risk it.

i haven't used the negative ion generators yet - been growing low odor strains so far
i have seen mixed results on them, some say they're great, others say crap
i think i've seen that if the area they are in is still, they work well, they will 'drop' odors to the floor where they 'stick'
they don't seem to do well with air in motion, which may not be that useful since most of us have ventilation pushing the air around

Don't skimp on odor control. Figure up how much you'd pay a lawyer to keep you out of jail and spend 10% of that on your carbon filter.
