Few Questions About Flowering

How long does it usually take to show sex once you start 12/12 cycles?

Also..how long into flowering before the plants stop growing upwards?

And how long before you can see buds? =]

14 days into 12/12 and you will see the sex.
when the plant is put into flowering it will grow 2-3 times its veg height.

I know it usually grows 2-3x during flowering...but i know there is also a point where upward growth slows down and it focuses more on producing buds

after 3-4 weeks, I believe it caps out on height and just fattens up the buds it has... it definetly does reach a point where that happens though, check my journal and look it up i cant remember for sure though

About a week or two when you go into 12/12.

All strains stop vertical growth at the third week of flower. Slowing down abruptley in the second week. Most plants grow most bud weight in the last two weeks of flower. You can see sex between 10-20 days, although some strain vary wildly in this regard. I've had some be a month into flower before showing sex and some show sex in a week. Just look closely. Actual bud growth starts as soon as plant reaches sexual maturity(When they show sex). Hope that helps ya. Check out some of FDD's grows. Or some time lapse on youtube to get a visual.

I've seen preflowers as early as 7 nodes, as said it depends on strain. So you can tell sex before 12/12. Some sativas grow quite a bit in flowering, as much as 4 to 5 'feet indoors. Your indicas will be less in height. There fore much better for a small grow.
