Few questions about my grow

Hi all, just a few questions, 5 week in to veging 4 weeks in sunlight about 5 days in new grow room under 4x 100 cfl's, ive noticed since putting it into grow room it has slowed down in growth (leafs are developing quicker but slowed in hight growth) its grown about a centermeter in 4 days and the new stem growth is purple, some tips of leafs are yellowing a tiny bit, and 1 of the main fan leafs has grown a bit twisted, just wanting to know if theres a prob, also what are those things circled in the picture

Im wandering if it could be shock. I would expect to see some slowed growth when moving from outdoors into a grow room. I dont know about the leaves however. What is the temp under those lights?

its always around 73

Id say there isnt a problem, but keep an eye on it anyway. As for the thing circled in the pic, its hard to tell but i think there growth shoots for the new set of branches to form. just my guess.

Why can new stems grow out from older lower ones, sorry if that sounds a little newbish but this is my first ever grow

as the plant matures it starts entire new branches that can each support its own cola if you train the plant correctly

So are those new shoots circled in the picture, like good ol thinks? sorry about the pic, hard to take close ups, also whats involved in training it right?

Training one can be done using paper clips, string, just about anything. when training you basically tie down the main shoot as it grows, resulting in multiple main colas. There is a pretty good guide in the grow faq, lots of good info if you want to check that out.
